not necessarily.... the pre '02 1.8t's only made 150 HP.... so unless its '02+ or VR6, you wouldnt have much trouble (assuming its stock) plus, they are heavier than your car.
it's an '02. And trust me, it's considerably faster than my car, especially in chip mode...I know from experience.
