Well heres the info i received today about this damn check engine light. When you have a coil wire shorting out causing engine misfire, its likely that you can damage an 02 sensor. So if your car isn't running normal then your best bet is to change your 02 sensors. But, if your car seems to be running fine and nothing appears to be wrong, then all you need to do is get the code professionally cleared. Autozone used to do it for you but i dont think they do it where i am anymore due to some reasons unknown. so i hope that helps out.
