since it is about midnight i cant ask a mechanic so i thought i might ask you guys so i can get a good idea on the general price range. ok here it is, how much do you think it would cost to replace all 16 valve seals(seals, seats whatever they are called) and all the other gaskets removed to get to the valve seals. i think i would have to take off the whole head to get to them right? if not i just need the new seals and i will do it myself. also the guy who owned my car before me put 2motors together so i am not sure what type of motor the head is from, is there any way to find out what the head is from or are all the stock valve seals the same on d16 and d15. i know the block is a d15b8 but i think he said the head is from a 1.6L. oh yeah i am pretty sure its not the rings burning oil but i havent had it looked at yet.
