i had an MSD pro cap with an external blaster 2 coil on my car. I had 2 different problems with the coil wire being exposed inside the cap and causing misfire,but i didnt drive on it no longer then a week. but the 3rd time the ground wire to the coil grounded out to the motor and my whole car turned off while driving down the road. that same night is when the check engine light first came on. so looks like we have had the same problem. is your light still on?
