I have a Random Technology cat it has around 10,000 miles on it, i still have the old O2 sensors. My car itself has 70,000 miles. I never had this trouble code before. I installed a Skunk2 Intake Manifold, there was a leak in the gasket, some coolant got into the crankcase so my car burned coolant for a few days. Then I fixed that problem using a Hondata gasket.

Later on my car was had intermittent missing from the ECU being fried by an exposed ignition wire inside the distributor, I drove the car while it was missing(slightly stumbing on acceleration) on for about 3 months. Then I fixed that problem, then like a week later that check engine light appeared. I'm guessing my cat just damaged inside due to the misfiring. It doesn't seem to hurt performance, unless it leans out the fuel mixture, but that light is an eyesore.
