Any competent mechanic should be able to do a leakdown test for you. The leakdown will tell you if you have a bad headgasket, valve seat, or piston rings. As far as the piston rings, you need to pick up a Helms manual. I used the 1400 page service manual for guidance. It is pretty straightforward, and if you want more details about it, PM me. The cylinder can be honed wherever you do the job. Just rent/buy the tool, attach some brand new 400 grit stones on it and then attach it to a drill. Make a few motions up and down each cylinder after lubricating it and then wash it and oil it.

I heard it would be a bad headgasket and coolant leaking in my cylinders. But I noticed that it looks like there is a leak on the outside of the headgasket, like oil and water mixed. What color would the smoke be if I had bad Piston rings?
It could be your headgasket. If the rings were bad, the smoke would have a blueish tint to it.
