On my '03 Si, local Honda service tech advised against using synthetic, but to use standard mineral oil on this model, suggesting it's best for all Hondas (Acuras). Told me that Honda does not recommend synthetic oil use in its motors. Is this just a company line, or some fact?? Sounds like a lot of Hondas, esp. those used in high performance, use synthetic regardless of age.
