So that means you have to keep the LED exposed for the controls to actually work then? Could you possibly show me a picture to see exactly how yours is set up.
BTW, I have a Panasonic CQ-8400-U head unit with the remote and all that kind of stuff.
I bought that same one but it proved too much for me to install the first time.
