Hmmm.... Not sure about the sales pitch, but I do have minor physics understanding, but what do you mean about a "column of air?" Personally, I thought header design was based more on frequency since the exaust gases are traveling at or near the speed of sound. The Frequency or pulses are sped up through runner length and diameter moreso than anything. Maybe I am wrong... after all I did not design this header. Can you clarify?
Those bends slow down the air flow and you would be stupid, not just ignorant for believing this guys header can make more power than the DC. They were the 1st real header manufacturer and they kept their design after all these years for a reason. It works on every car it is put on.
No doubt DC has been around for years, but they are marketing their product to a different crowd... what I mean is they make affordable "entry level" headers. I am not doubting that they work because I ran a set when I first put my car together, but since then my demands have increased so A header change was needed.
I don't know about your supposed 250whp cough get real cough h22, I would like to see proof of that alone. Why are you afraid to post up a dyno page even after you have been asked? I am sure if you used a header with less bends you would prbably make 275 hp haha on your setup. Try it and see and post up a real dyno with proof. Good luck.
Not sure why you are attacking me personally, but I would be happy to post and older dyno sheet for you. This dyno sheet does not reflect the new header on my car. It was done with the same set-up except for an SMSP header. I am planning to post both once the tuning is done to compare the two different header types.
