Also, whichever route you go, there can be NO - ZERO - NIL - NADA - not one drop of oil on it or the paint/coating won't stick. So, if you do get it powder coated, I highly reccommend you run it through a parts washer first. Most machine shops will do that for you for about $20-$25. If you're trying to do a quick-n-easy paint it and re-install it kind of thing, then buy like 4 cans of Gum Cutter (2+2) or carb cleaner and use as much of it as it takes to make it spotless.
