Hmmm. I was going to have the same question. I have exhaust going through the stock CAT, and was going to put headers and high flow CAT on the car. I came to this forum just to avoid going through what you're going through. I'm a month away from a smog. The car is getting a new engine, and was just gonna throw it all on. I can't, knowing you're going through this. But I think extensioncordy is right. Switch back. Since you don't have your stock exhaust, I'd hit Craig's list. Anybody selling Civic parts might be down to let you borrow some stock pipes laying around, just to get you to pass. Smog is what.... Every OTHER year? Don't throw the $400 in the trash. But I hope some one knows how to get around it.
