Honda was one of the biggest offenders in the OBDI government crackdown. They are part of the reason for OBDII. Honda was notorious for having emissions problems but not turning on the CEL. OBDII is very tricky. You will have to make several trips some on the highway and some in the city.

Some tips:
1. Never floor it right after the reset
2. No jackrabbit starts
4. Don't go above 60
5. Coast to a stop without pressing the brakes from about 35 mph and again from 55 - 60.
6. don't use premium unless your car requires it - premium burns SLOWER than regular - more NOX emissions if your car is running borderling.
7. use a heavier weight of oil and change your oil if you have a sniffer test. Don't worry about this if you just have the computer test.
