The C2 series is also a nice, but expensive alternative to the Defi gauges.

The mechanical are always going to be more accurate, but you have to run lines directly to the back of the gauge. 220 degree oil flowing right into the passenger compartment isn't a comforting thought since I had mine leaking all the time, so I have gone with an electrical oil temp over the mechanical oil pressure.

The gauges that say boost only measure when you are boosting. Most of your "around town" driving will take place in the vacuum part of the gauge, so it is handy to have one that shows you both instead. GSSR's boost gauge show both vacuum and boost as well as my boost gauge. You also want to make sure that you get one that reads in the correct unit. Usually, psi is the standard, but they also come in kg/cm and bar.
