would it save money to, keep the teg, maybe give to my mom, and then I buy another teg, but manual? ....or would it be cheaper to convert the auto to manual?...
Given the age of the car, I would not convert it unless you plan on keeping it for a very long time... like a decade or more.
Cars with manual conversions have horrid resale values in general.
I'd baby this car and keep her in good condition, then save for a manual transmission car.
