How old is your battery? Did they do a amp load test on your battery before they changed the alternator? If you don't have any aftermarket stereo equipment that is drawing alot of current, you do not need a higher output alternator. Did this just happen or was this a gradual process? Based on my experience, I would say this is a battery issue.
