what can i do after a swap to manual to get my car to pass CA smog laws???
i say patch up the transmission and sell it to buy a manual.
of course you could just swap in a manual transmission, theres nothing illegal about that.
swapping for a motor isnt as bad as you think, since you have an OBD-I engine you can swap in any b18 you want. as long as it's usdm that is.
