yeah i know and i believe me the motor is choking with the crappy setup i have up top. i feel it every freakin' day!! :crying: this motor was built on a strict budget and being built in increments. the short block was the first step of the project and the cylinder head was from a previous motor I had. The cylinder head is going to be reworked with a more aggressive port and possibly valvetrain. believe me those GSR cams are going bye bye as soon as i stumble across more dough.

really?? i didnt know that... when i compared a P72 piston to the P70 (i think thats what the B17 was) piston, the P72 seemed more domed...
i do know the B17 is flat topped.
US P72 00 pistons have a dome displacment of -.60cc while P61 (92-93 B17A1) have a dome displacement of .00cc.(truly flat with valve reliefs but not dished) You might have been looking at JDM P72 00 pistons which are domed. But US P72 A0 pistons have no dome. stroke length and piston to deck height also plays a role in what compression numbers you end up with.
