Haha, no problem man. We all start off somewhere right? Hydrolocking is when you get water sucked up into your motor and completely shutting everything down. Your motor can only handle so much water getting into it.
Cold Air intakes go outside of your engine bay and take in air from the fender (through that hole) Short rams actually stay inside the engine bay, and just sit right above "the hole" (the actual filter)
