Hey, I'm kinda new to Hondas, I've had a few just never had to work on them

Anyway, I blinked out code 6, coolant temp sensor. Its an Automatic EX and the sport light blinks too. I replaced the coolant temp sensor and I get the same stuff. What I don't understand is why the sport light blinks and there are no trans codes thrown

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
