Also the B16 is a more tunable engine than the H22a. Have you considered the ITR's B18c5 motor?? 187bhp standard with a 8700rpm limiter and 133ftlb of torque?? and its really tunable!
The saying "there is no replacement for displacement" is right, but also wrong because it completely depends on the car, weight and traction etc etc.

H22 only weighs 35 pounds more than a GS-R, tranny and engine. Personally I'd just do a GS-R and call it a day, I'm not a fan of B16's honestly, they're fun but not fast right out of the box. H22's are fun too but it's a little involved.
