I have CDR cross drilled rotors (I hope they stay that way after the winter stops by) with KVR Performance pads. There is some grinding noise just before coming to a complete stop.

I'm not crazy about these pads since they seem to have a softer initial bite than stock and the rears appear rusted since the pads release a rust coloured brake dust. They seem to work well when I really stomp on the brake peddle though.

I guess I need to get the brakes bled again to see if that helps initial stopping.
