have it revved around 1.7k-2k rpm, and then start to ease up on the clutch, you'll feel it grab, and then start to give it a little more gas. you'll get used to it. it jerks because you aren't matching the clutch and gas up properly. Just keep practicing and you'll learn where you need to start giving gas and letting up.
