Default update on blow headgasket

i got everything taken apart and little things replaced, i.e. waterpump ect. and sent the head out to a local shop for a full rebuild.

toady i got word from them that just about every seal in the head has been literally fried. and i have on bent valve on the intake side cylinder 3 . i guess it was pretty bad, the mechanic (builds race engines) said it was stuck partially open, and wouldn't move at all.
so that would probably explain the burn marks up the intake manifold. i am still kinda concerned at what would bend one valve, and keep it partialy open, just enough to where the cyclinder cleared it.

well everything in the bottom end looks good, im thinking about taking out the pistons and honing the cylinder walls while im waiting. just wanted to update any who car (proably less than the number of valves bent on my head) and if anyone has any therories on how one valve bent i would be interested
