i'm thinking of just emailing my profs, explaining the situation and leaving and worrying about it when i get back.

her hip is broken in 3 places and she'll be going into surgery later today to have pins inserted. she's gonna be off her feet for quite a while. her neighbor's dog jumped up (big dog) and knocked her over.
Glad to hear she is doing ok. I hope the surgery goes well. I'll keep her in my prayers.
