a shop told me that it becasue i didn't get block re-surface. he then told me i can just use a ticker oil and it will take care of the oil leak unless i want to pull my motor out and have the block resurface.. any thoughts?
Was the head resurfaced? Did the headgasket ever blow out?
A thicker oil probably won't be the solution to your problem. I would avoid that method.
