I took my car to Midas, trusting their touch, and they said I need new pads and machining of my rotors. Rear ceramics, instal and machining would be $190. Front will be metallic for 160 or upgrade to ceramics for 190. I thought of the Axxis Ultimates and asked if they installed my own pads how much and they said $70 dollars per axle for everything.
1. Is this a good deal?
2. I've heard Axxis Ultimates are great pads and they're cheaper than the stuff Midas will replace them with. LT recommended Cobalt GT-Sport pads. They're a little bit more than the Axxis but cheaper than the Midas stuff. Which pads? Its mainly for street for the next few months.
3. Is $85 for the front and $69 for the rear a good price on the GT-Sport?
