It will going to cost much more than that if you are buying quality parts that are new. You also have to factor in the engine management which could run a few hundred in price to $1500 + tuning in price.

As long as it is tuned correctly, you can run a fair amount of safe boost on your stock motor, so there isn't any need to upgrade internals if you don't plan on much more than 250 whp.
