Do you still have the packaging? The kit you have should have this part no. S012011. The springs will settle a little bit over time, but no more than say 2-3mm than when first fitted.
The Part of the spring with more coils should be at the bottom, also you will not have to change the shocks unless they are worn out (car keeps bouncing wen u push down on each corner off the car) Coilovers will be much better for racing, however they will be very firm, even with a higher ride height and a softer setting. I would say the best for a reasonable ride which is still quite low and improved handling is a spring and shock kit from spax, eibach or tein etc. I'd try the spax personally their non adj PSX kit with 40mm lower is part no. P060 and the same kit only with 50mm lower is part no. p070. take a look for yourself

but on the spax website it says springs shoud be fitted wth the writing faceing the right way and more coils side at the top and less on the bottom.
