Default Extended Warranty?

Hey all,

Mission accomplished

I went to the dealership last Saturday, test drove a couple of vehicles, chose *the one* (which turned out to be a 2002 Accord SE Sedan in silver metallic), picked it up on Monday and have been enjoying it for three days already. It's a wonderful car - after getting into it for the first time, I was about to turn the engine on when I found out the car was already running. The engine is truly whisper-quiet. Sweet

Now I have one last decision to make and I hope you can help ... I did the whole Platinum Protection Package (i.e. paint sealant, undercoating, rust proofing and fabric guard) but they are also encouraging me to buy extended warranty (both powertrain & bumper to bumper for up to 7 years) I am considering the 6 year (100,000km) package as I don't drive much, but it is expensive. I am conflicted between the peace of mind I'd have if I got the package and the fact that Honda is a reliable car and shouldn't need this insurance. What do you all think? To buy or not to buy?

Thanks in advance ...
