You think dressing like a thug is culture?

If that is the NBA "culture" then I say loose it. It is a bad example for kids growing up. NBA players are role models for kids, even though imho 99.9% of them and any other sports athelete really isn't the best choice for a role model. But that is how today's society is. Atleast they can show a little class.
