Default 90 Accord EX shift points too high no TCM codes *UPDATE!* problem solved

I recently sold a 1990 Honda Accord EX to a lady. No problems until a week later she drove about 50 miles, stopped and parked for about 5 hours, returned to her vehicle and drove off. Since this time the shift points are 1-2 @ 27-32 mph, 2-3 @ 40 - 45, 3-4 upshift will only happen if over 50 MPH and foot is off throttle. Only a slight application of the throttle shifts back to 3rd. These shift points occur at about 10 - 20 percent throttle. I can manually shift from 1-2 and the shift point will be whenever I shift, but no effect on manually upshifting 2-3 or 3-4, which operates as said before, regardless of manual shift input . Throttle link cable to trans appears to be adjusted properly and unmodified from the factory, free of binding. Checked the ABC's too and no problems found (Alternator, Battery, Connections) and fuses. I'd like to service it but the drain plug is seized in the trans and the square hole in the drain plug is cammed out. Fluid is old. Single mother owner awaiting my diagnosis, driving a car with no heat. I stand behind what I sell and I dont want her to get a pig-in-a-poke. Is there hope for this trans or is it cashed? Thanks for any help!
