iam guessing you already relieved the fuel system pressure, cus this is importan to do first, anyways, working in the engine compartment you first have to unscrew the Banjo bolt on the filter, then you have to go beneath the engine compartment(bay) and using a flare nut wrench, if possible, lossen the fuel line by unsrewing the fitting from the bottom of the filter, and there you go it should come right out. thats the only thing holding the filter that you have to get under the car for.
