no he's reffering to how tthe bushing are. and how his shifter is mushy and his friends is crisp.
i've never driven a civic so i can't tellt he difference... but most likely it's just how the car is.. it migh be because your linkage is a little bit loose from age... that his shifter bushings might cause the car to click into gears....
