Default Leaking hatch??

Hey guys, i have a 97 civic cx hatch, recently did the power window swap which took longer than i thought, so i pulled up all the carpet, and chucked that. It looked really bad and was cut in the drivers area. Also chucked the rear seats for GSR leather. Im still in the process of dynamat lying. I got the entire trunk with 1 later, then we got hit by 3 days non stop rain. After about 10 min driving my trunk was SOAKED. It got under the dynamat and i had to tear it all up. I thought it was from when i ripped out the spare tire mount, it made a hole clear through. So i patched that all up, and layed 2 layers of dynamat in the entire trunk. Now i went out today because again we had nonstop rain that isnt going to end till sunday .
Again i have about 2'' of water sitting on top of the dynamat. None got under, so its comming from somewhere else. No idea where it is leaking, its pouring right now, and i went out and dont feel anything dripping, no visible water lines. Is there anyway to find exactly where it is leaking? Isnt there something like filling the car with smoke and taking a vaccum to all the seams, and if the smoke comes out is where the leak is? Any other ideas besides having someone on my trunk as i drive in the pouring rain to find the leak?

When it stops raining ill pull the lights but i doubt its leaking from there. No idea, but its not comming from the floor. Also it dosent leak when its just sitting, only when im driving it seems. Becasue i went to work it was dry, it sat in hard rain for over 8 hrs, checked it when i got in, then when i got home i had my entire trunk wet.
Im glad i didnt put any new interior in yet.
