Different car but the same idea. My 92 4 door Civic doesn't have roll bars on the front or rear. I put on Bilstein HD's with H&R OEM sport springs and am currently running 15" wheels in the summer and 13" in the winter. All of the suspension bushings and joints are either recently new stock rubber or poly. Corners great.
I can't answer your spring rate question because I don't know what the stock ones are, what the 94's are or what aftermarket ones are. That's why I just went with a good company for my model.
