What I don't think they should do is make releases every other week with new items for it. develop and test the items, then announce a large scale release every 6 months or maybe every 3 months even. It sure would lighten the aspect of them playing market dominance which is something they have been at battle with MS about for a while now, even took them to court over it and now look at them.

there's plenty of hype about up and coming products, but they generally do not update their product lines very often. they typically do a lot of announcements at one time, like revealing new notebooks, ipods, accessories, etc, all in the same announcement. the ipod itself is usually updated about once a year. before today, the last update to the regular ipod was in june, but it was more of a re-naming than anything else.

the original ipod mini was released a couple months after the ipod photo, and updated over a year later. the ipod shuffle was released in january of this year, and the nano on september 7th. so i'm kind of confused as to what products they are releasing every other week?
