So most of you know that I have Type R for sale. I'm asking $13k for it, there are only a handful for sale in the Western US right now, next cheapest is $14k and is missing most the stuff that makes it a Type R, the rest are $19k-$22k. So here is an email convo I had today.

Him: Will you take $9500 for your car. (thats all it said, nothing else at all, no name, nothing)

My Reply: I appreciate your offer but you're about $3k short of the best offer so far.

Him: Will you take $10,000

My Reply: Again, I appreciate your reply but you're still almost $3k short of the best offer so far. If you are seriously interested in the car it would take $12,500 cash and you could probably drive away in it tonight.

Him: No thanks. You go ahead and sell it to someone else. I can find a nice car for less than $10k.

My Reply. No prob. What are you looking to get and maybe I can help you.I know there are several nice cars available for less than $10k, just no nice Type R's. And if you do find one for less than $10k I would be pretty concerned about it.

Him (copied direct from his email) : "just need someone to mess with but if you want i can meet you some where before you sell the car and race you for pink slips if you want.. i've seen nice cars for a cheaper price.. i can almost guaranty you that i will find one."

My reply: "Wonderful. I've seen nice cars for cheaper also. Have fun on your journeys in purchasing your nice car. Unfortunatly finding a Type R for $10k is going to be next to impossible. If you are wanting a different car then more power to you and by all means let me know what you are looking for as I can probably find it for you. But you inquired about a Type R and I gave you a correct response.

Enjoy whatever car you end up with. I'm sure you'll make the rest of the safe driving community proud with your Fast and Furious attitude.

My final reply: "Ummm, that's because I am tired of this shit and on certain days of the week I am white. I think we've established our grounds here. You want a Type R for $9500, I have a Type R that I will sell to you for $12,500 cash tonight, you don't want to pay that, should be end of discussion.

Instead you wish to challenge for pink slips like you are in a damn movie. I politely decline as I grew out of my childish street racing days many many years ago, something you should consider doing.

Your reply to my polite decline of a challenge results in name calling which I will happily resemble if you wish. So please take your sub $10k price cap to someone else with a car for sale. Like I said earlier, I don't doubt that there are nice cars out there for $10k, I just don't think you're gonna find a nice Type R for $10k.
