I think on '91 there's a fan timer module under the dashboard somewhere. Also there's 2 fan switches. The one on the thermostat housing is responsible for switching the fan when the engine is running. The one at the UPPER radiator hose nozzle (at the head) is responsible for switching the fan after you turn off the engine.

Zonab's '96 Accord... I'm not sure whether '96 has that older system with the fan timer & 2 switches.

I think(?) the AC thermo switch is not related. That's responsible for cycling your AC clutch on & off. I think that's buried in your ventilation system somewhere.
