What a depressing way to see such a great band go out. scheduled encores, frigid performances, stage show was barely a step up from delicate Sound of Thunder tour, and their new stuff sucked balls.
I am a fan but only up to Momentary Lapse of Reason, after that it is no longer Floyd.
You're not the only one I know with that opinion. I know alot of people who say Floyd died when Roger quit after The Wall. There is some merit to that. Division Bell isn't a
bad album, but certainly not one of their best. But I would defend Pulse as the only known live performance on video of Dark Side, and to just watch David run those classic solos on Time and Money is worth it, IMO.
I missed them whent they came to Cleveland in April of '94, but I know plenty of people who were there. It was cold, rainy, and rather horrible weather to be at an outdoor stadium for a rock concert..... but everyone agrees it was all worth it to just watch Gilmour work his magic.
