Yea, a SC is a little more reliable than a turbo, but none-the-less, a SC is a major mod and can easily make your car unreliable. Its all in the way you do things to make it reliable. Dont start this stuff, saying turbos are unreliable and cause so much wear and tear blahblahblah.
