bringing back a thread...

w/ cold weather approaching, i thought this might be a good time to invest in a remote starter for my car. you know, to let the car warm up for a minute before hopping in and driving off. my question is, what other hardware is necessary to make this happen?

i've looked up this DEI thing http://www.drdetailshop.com/556U.htm (dont even know what it is or stands for) and im not sure if thats all i need to have installed or if theres a lot im missing out on. will i need another seperate remote or can i program my current key? is installation difficult? what else will i need?

if anyone could give me some help it would be greatly appreciated.
