Is this also known as the neutral position switch? If so, I have tried replacing that with no luck...however it was a junkyard part and perhaps it was a bad one as well. Any ida if that was the part? There appears to be a cylindrically shpaed solenoid of sorts which actually actuates the park-release. Could this be bad...One more thing...Is my brake switch also linked to this? If so, could a bad brake switch do this?
