Had a 14 yo girl talk back to her mother, and threaten with CPS if the mother whipped her. Mom apologizes to me starts packing up and is going to take the daughter to some childrens shelter, but decided they could make it before closing time by giving all the daughter's clothes to the church. The girl starts crying, goes out to wait in the car while Mom pays.

I say, "You really had me thinking you were going to drop her off."

She replies, "I am dead serious, I'll not have my child act like that and live in my house;I love her, but I would rather give her up."
