Finally got around to getting my wiring harness for my power windows. Needed to get a floor harness from a 96-98, but the only one i could get used is for a 00. I would have had to buy a new one for the 96 at $160 at the dealership and its on national backorder. So i decided to take the 00 one for FREE

. I needed to change one plug near the fuse box, and one plug that controls the rear of the car (brake, parking, reverse, turnsignal lights, and rear speakers).
First i started it up it ran for 1 sec then died. So i switched the plug by the fuse box, took all the wires from the 00 harness and cut then before that plug, then did the same with my cx plug then soldered the wires of the same color together. The only problem i came to is that there are 2 of the EXACT same wires in the 00 harness. There are 2 green wires with a black stripe. My cx harness only had 1. No idea what the other is for? Any one know?
Next, the gas gauge probably dosent work because the 00 harness has 3 plugs where as the cx has 2, thats not a problem i can probably figure it out. I was not worried about that as much as i was worried about having lights. So i finally got to the point where i have left and right turn signal, rear tail lights, but no reverse lights, and no brake lights, as well as my e-brake light dosent work. In the CX harness i connected them all to wires in the 00 harness except one blue wire with a red stripe. On the 00 harness the only wires i had left are 2 or 3 mint colored ones one or 2 with a black stripe.
Like i said i really didnt get too into it, just got home from work at 6, then i was out in the garage from 7-now (9:15) switching harnesses. All the places around here are close to get a Clymer manual, for now does anyone have a wiring diagram for the rear lights, e-brake, gas gauge?
