thank you for the lesson on turbos and wastegates as i have no clue what either are (sarcastic) Ive never heard of any kit having "stock psi" as they dont they do come with wg's yes, and there is a spring in them yes, which is what your boost is correct. Yet 97civic was wrong, the question was asking if you needed sleeves with aftermarket pistons. The answer is yes, forged pistons do not like FRM sleeves which H series have. Then he asks if there is anymore work that he needs to do to the motor. Since no one has answered it yet I guess I will for him.

IF you do want to build the motor there are many ways and setups to go with. When i built i went with a 98 block (bigger mains 55mm) Wiseco pistons, Crower rods, Darton sleeves, Manley valvetrain, port and polished head, 3 angle valve job, etc. The reason people sleeve is because off the FRM sleeves as i have stated before. Aftermarket pistons dont like these sleeves, although some companies are now making pistons to go with the original sleeves (which im not fond of). All in all if depends how much power you want to make to see how beefy you want to build your motor. My car is a weekend warrior so i built it to make big power. You also need to look at turbo size etc. to see how big/much power you want via on the street or just want a track car only. If you need anymore help shoot me a pm 360bboy.
