ouch, like i said though it won't be cheap...i think they do that to ward off the people who steal decks and don't get the faceplates so they just go and try to get one through the company.
I know if I was a theif and stole a deck w/o a faceplate, I wouldn't pay more than the decks worth for a faceplate.
Keep checkin ebay maybe you'll get lucky
