Actually it was a 2 liter engine with a single turbo. Made because of taxes on engines over 2L displacement.
The 2 liter was offerd in 85-86 in 2.5 V6 and the 2.0 Turboin 87 came the C27A V6 and was offered on Turbo because of revisions
