hi there i have this problem for 2 months now, when it first happened the idle is really low around 100 400 rpm range and it would go back to normal it happens randomly not constant and it will sputter and the car is jerking around 2000-3000 rpm range while decelerating on any gear foot off the gas but you'll feel it more in 3rd and 4th gear and again it's random not constant, so i changed my plugs,wires,cap and rotor and checked the timing but unfortunately it didn't help, so i took it to a mechanic and he said that everything was fine nothing wrong with it no CEL but he still tried to get some code from the ecu but he didn't get nothing he didn't even charge me, so i tried to ignore it but i can't coz it keeps on happening so i just decided to take it to a shop and do a fuel injection flush and change the fuel filter, and you know what it worked fixes the idle and the sputtering and jerking problem but i noticed it idled a lil high around 950 rpm before i did all that it was idling around 700 rpm,so anyways it fixed it for only 4 days then it started sputtering and jerking again and the idle starts acting up again, do you guys think it's the fuel injector(s)? why would it run fine after i did that right if it's not the injectors.
fuel delivery?
fuel pump?
main relay?
ignition ?
clogged cat?(coz my cat is still stock and it doesn't meet perfectly fromthe exhaust manifold to the cat the guy that did the swap just put a big donut gasket to fill the gap, dunno if that's okay.)
i'm taking it to an acura mechanic 2 weeks from now for them to diagnose it, do you guys think they will figure it out eventhough it's happening randomly?
i would get them to check the ijectors if theyr'e spraying evenly,fuel pressure and anything related to cause that problem.....but for now i need feedback from you guys real bad please please help i wanna get this done with.....thanks
by the way my mods are intake and catback exhaust and the guy that did the swap for me chipped my ecu for free he said it's a costum made chip kinda like hondata....please reply thanks
