there is really no way around getting a new radiator since its plastic that cracked and theres no permanent solutions that are cost efficient that i know of. mine is a 96 and it cracked already, so you're actually doing pretty good. the last thing you want is engine damage from excessive heat, so you will probably just have to bite the bullet and get a new/rebuilt one. they're only about $100 though if you just shop around. that will still be cheaper than contantly buying coolant to dump into it, so the sooner you get a new one the more you will save. sorry about your luck
