With a carbon fiber hood you'll need hoodpins to keep it from flying off.

I would much rather get an aftermarket hood vs. paying for an oem one. Fitment is always an issue with aftermarket parts, but many people have gone the CF hood route with little or no trouble.

Black CF hood on a black car looks like krap IMO; on a yellow or white car it would look OK (although most people will ask you why you didn't paint your hood). If I were to get an aftermarket hood for my black teg it would be a clean vented hood (think Mugen) of some sort, and it would be painted. My hoodpins should be enough to show that mah hood aint stock h:
